This program will consist of twelve stained glass painting workshops, which will end with a community exhibition on July 21st. The workshops will generate discussions on how our neighbourhoods shape our identity and how we can use images to describe ourselves and our surroundings. Alongside these discussions, participants will learn how to use glass paints. They will start with the basics of colour mixing and mark making. By the time they get to their final projects, they will be using this art form, which has historically graced the walls of churches, mosques and other significant buildings, to create paintings of their neighbourhoods.
